The ABCs of International Adoption
A. Parent must be at least age 25 (minimum age can vary by country).
B. You must be a United States citizen or married to one.
C. You must satisfy your state’s adoption law requirements.
D. You must be approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to bring a child into the United States.
E. And you must meet the age, marriage and family size criteria of the particular country where you wish to adopt.
