Update: Ukraine Adoption Program
Adoptions in Ukraine have recently picked up speed. Ukraine's adoption authority just enacted a new policy that dossier's will be reviewed and approved within 10 business days of submission. Then, parents will receive an invitation to travel in two months! That's just 60 days after dossier approval!
As evidence of this new policy in action, Ukraine SDAPCR has just issued referral appointment dates to 4 CWA families, 3 of which will travel at the beginning of March 2007!
We estimate that at the rate Ukraine is currently processing dossiers, CWA could eventually handle up to 10 adoptions per month!
- Ukraine has re-opened for new American families
- CWA has worked in Ukraine for many years, and enjoys a favorable status with the SDAPCR
- Ukraine’s adoption authority reviews dossier quickly: in approximately 10 business days!
- Travel just 2 months after dossier is approved.
