A Word from a Board Member

Three years ago, my wife Chris and I brought home Zachary and Rebecca, who were 3 years old and 9 months old, from Russia. Our life was blessed in more ways than we could have imagined.

After years of marriage without the blessing of a child, we began to consider adoption. We attended information sessions by several different international adoption agencies. We were impressed by the professionalism of the Christian World Adoption counselor, and the fact that she did not sugar coat the discussion. CWA counselors clearly informed the group of both the positives and the potential problems involved with international adoption. Throughout the adoption process, the CWA staff conducted themselves professionally, but with Christian caring. It was clear that their most important concern was for the children.

After having experienced the joyous outcome of international adoption, and the tireless work of CWA, I volunteered to serve on the Board of Directors. It has been my privilege to work with Tomilee and Bob Harding, and the dedicated staff of CWA. CWA truly places the good of the children first. I am delighted that CWA is not only concerned about placing children in forever families, they are also active in providing aid for those children who are not so fortunate.

We are forever grateful to CWA for bringing Zack and Becky into our family.
