Update: Guatemala Adoption Program
Adoption cases continue to be processed in Guatemala at a relatively good pace. We are very thankful for this, as we currently have a large amount of cases in the process. We estimate that there will be at least 15 families traveling to Guatemala to pick up their children during the month of April.
We continue to have the same concerns regarding how the changes in Guatemala in preparation for the U.S. to implement The Hague Convention on International Adoption, will affect current cases and the future of adoptions from Guatemala.
