We Believe That God is in Control of Our Agency and Your Adoption  ::  April 2007

The CWA China Team is sorry to see our administrative assistant, Traci Snoddy, move to Virginia. She is relocating near family, and we wish her well! Mei and Virginia won’t be lonely for long, though… CWA’s China Program Director, Jane, should be returning to the Charleston office sometime in May.

CWA has received the paperwork for 20 new special needs children, which we hope to have available for parents to view in early May. Many of these children have more serious special needs than we have seen previously, so we ask your prayers for them.

The China Center of Adoption Affairs sent referrals in early April, but CWA did not receive any this month. The time period covered was only 2 days, October 25 and 26, 2005. We have several families with October 27, 2005 log-in dates, so this was particularly disappointing for them. The wait time is now 19-20 months. The wait will probably get longer before it starts to improve.

We continue to be impressed by the faithfulness and optimism of the China families who wait so patiently. Their confidence in God’s perfect timing is an inspiration to us!
