Stephne Bowers conveys her thanks for all the items you have sent to help children in Soddo, Awassa and Shashamene Ethiopia who are waiting to be adopted. The clothing room is currently full, so please wait a few months before sending more clothing items.
Current items needed are:
Flip-flops — any sizes.
Baby blankets
INFANT DIGITAL SCALES: (Number Needed-3) We cannot find these in Addis.
OLDER CHILD/ADULT SCALES: (Number Needed-3) The quality of scales available here is terrible. Scales don’t last and usually break by the 3rd child.
SOFT MEASURING TAPES: (Number Needed-12) We need sewer’s measuring tapes. We prefer the type with inches and centimeter/meters. These are used regularly for measuring the height and head circumference of the children. They are easily misplaced , torn or worn, so we need at least a dozen to divide between orphanages.
