CWA, JCICS and Kyrgyzstan

As you know, there are many agencies and organizations working behind the scenes to advocate for orphans, international adoption, and adoptive parents. Among them is Joint Council on International Children’s Services (JCICS) which we have partnered with JCICS on many initiatives, projects, and advocacy issues. Currently we are working with JCICS to further the International Relations Initiative Project with the Kyrgyz Republic. This project includes information gathering, diplomatic efforts and child advocacy. Our Kyrgyzstan Program Director, Anya Rutherford, is deeply involved with this project, encouraging CWA families to participate and support JCICS initiatives aimed at reaching a resolution concerning the current suspension of adoption in Kyrgyzstan. JCICS is a powerful voice in this matter and we are proud partner with them in this effort.

For more information on the JCICS Kyrgyzstan Initiative you can visit the JCICS Kyrgyz Republic link here.  If you are a CWA family in our Kyrgyzstan program, please feel free to contact Anya Rutherford for more information about your specific case and what you can do to be part of this initiative too.
