With over 140 million orphans across the globe, the orphan crisis is the epic problem of our time. Yet, many of these children go unnoticed and are invisible to the rich and powerful. This is why God is calling the Church to change and save the lives of orphans.
Christian World Adoption and Christian World Foundation are uniquely positioned to facilitate intercountry adoptions and deliver humanitarian aid because of our experience, infrastructure and in country relationships.
When we partner with a congregation, we provide comprehensive Adoption and Orphan Ministry services which build families and save lives. Â These services include:
- Education for families considering adoption
- Full service adoptions for families who are called to adopt
- Adoptive families support training (for those helping families through the adoption process and the adjustment upon returning home)
- Opportunities for funding ongoing humanitarian aid operations
- Training for short term mission teams (including exclusive online mission team resources)
- Summer of Hope host programs (families hosting children for 4-6 weeks)
CWA and CWF are action oriented organizations. For us, prayer is work and work is prayer. This means we are actively engaged in changing and saving lives. We partner with churches who are also action oriented and desire to see results that glorify God. These churches are intentional about incorporating orphan ministry into the culture and fabric of their congregation and community.
The Bible is clear: we are all called by God to help orphans. Whether adopting, supporting adoptive families, funding humanitarian aid or going on mission trips – each member of your church can be personally involved in changing and saving lives for God’s glory. There is no greater difference you can make in this world.
